Audrey Hepburn is probably the classic style icon. Most of what she wore was either black or white, and almost everything was a very classic silhouette. Think of the cigarette pants in Funny Face, the LBDs in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (which you must watch, by the way), and the crisp men’s shirts she wore in her off-screen life. She always looked comfortable and put-together: but perhaps her most stylish qualities were her beliefs about beauty. She believed that being kind to others and being a good person was a quality that transcended style. Emulate Audrey, not through your clothes (though that would still be a great idea), but through your actions. Be a happy girl, a kind girl. After all, the happiest girls are the prettiest girls.
